Matching Derm 2+2 programs

Hi I was hoping someone could give me a sense of derm 2+2 programs as I'm hoping to go into academic derm and haven't seen much info on this here. I'm currently in my research year at a T20 west coast program (MD only) but have primarily seen MD/PhD's doing 2+2's. Would I have a shot with my research credentials?
